While I mostly agree with you, I find the intensity of your rage to be somewhat entertaining.

I only played Episode 1 but that’s enough to get an opinion on the first couple episodes of anime. George made me lol when I saw him, it’s like they just bishie’d him up completely to draw in fangirls. I hate that, and I’m a girl. It doesn’t seem like George at all to me. It’s like he died and they got CLAMP to make a replacement.

Maria was weirdly smiley. :S I’m a bit torn on this though because while it did seem like they just moe’d her up for the sake of moe, and she felt different from the VN version for that reason, I’m a true moefag at heart so my contention of this particular change can only go so deep :< I would still much prefer it if she were more true to her original form, but I just can’t hate a moemoe uuuu loli no matter how hard I try.

Mostly though, I was just weirded out by the supremely sped-up pacing and skipping quickly through stuff that had a good deal of text in the game, though I guess it’s to be expected in the transition from VN to anime (and who would love a first episode full of old dudes arguing about inheritance?).

As for Jessica’s skirt, though: no matter how much you like the original designs, her skirt was always pretty effed up. It took me by surprise when I first checked her character profile.
