Well, I watched 6, 7, and 8 in a row – which is a good thing. I couldn’t do this with the previous episodes at all, as they were more like a chore to get through. These episodes however have changed my view on the series in a big way – though not nearly as big as iinchou’s chest.

Basically, the first 5 were really shitty. Like, as I said very recently in my last post about it, I practically had to force myself to watch it and only did so to kill some time. But, starting episode 6 and continuing from then on it feels like the first time I’m actually ENJOYING watching this show.

So every now and then when I think there’s gonna be especially shitty posts in reply to news they post I check. Well, just like the censoring thing, there’s really stupid shit going on already about this news of a new law being pushed in Tokyo “to include sexually provocative, “visual depictions” of characters who sound or appear to be 18 years old or younger.” And no, i don’t go there or post there or read shit there – the only thing i use ANN for is their anime encyclopedia and sometimes news (like this time) so yeah.

Now that’s retarded and all on it’s own – but the point is the posts about this. Almost the entire first page of replies is basically “FUCK YEAH BAN LOLI SERVES THOSE PEDOS RIGHT” but uh.

What they don’t understand is this isn’t just about loli at all. Nor are any of the laws being passed in other countries.

It’s about underaged people – as in not just 11 or 12 year olds, but even 17 year olds and generic highschoolers – not to mention anyone that could POSSIBLY be seen as under 18, even if they are ‘lol no shes like 800 years old man’ it doesnt matter, still would be outlawed by this law.

Just a quick look at what I think of Durarara so far. I say quick, but you know how that usually goes if you ever read this blog.

First off, I have to say it’s, as most things I write about, pretty disappointing. I was looking forward to something great – something like most people expected – something like baccano. Not in specific ways, but that quality, and that feeling of something great and special about it the whole time. Drrr lacks that, not only lacks, it has none of it – it’s a very average series and the only reason I’m watching it at all is to kill time now that I finished what I have of Slayers and don’t feel like rewatching anything.

Also I was lazy and just took very few screens.

Ill say this first though – i’ve only seen up to episode 5 at this point (so 6 is next and so on).

Another example of why I both love (because it’s amusing how stupid and shitty everyone is) and hate very much (because its annoying how stupid and shitty everyone is) the anime fan community. FUNi licensed that shitty loli vampire bund animu – and are editing it. Makes sense right? It’s got naked lolis – which after the court case with whatever his name was, seems PRETTY OBVIOUS that it’s illegal.

Well it’s been awhile but I’m back now. So instead of explanations, I’ll just jump right into the anime/manga related stuff.

Oh and before I forget – Google banned my Youtube account, sorry if anyone gave a shit, but yeah that’s just how it is. I’ll post a new account soon for anyone who cares.

ALSO, I just was thinking my text is really small. So just a reminder, there’s a resize button in the top right (the big and little A will cycle through 3 sizes of font, and the other button will change the size of the layout as a whole). Mine happened to be on the tiniest possible of those three, shit sucked.

Well, I got the first DVD set (episodes 1-13 of season 1) as one of my Christmas gifts and I just now got around to watching it. I – obviously if you used to read my blog or know me – have seen all of H&C and season 2 of it, and it’s one of my favorite shows, but this was the first time I heard the dub.

As for comments on it, well it’s not horrid shit but it’s far from being acceptable.
